People, being people, all do things differently. When it comes to getting married, there are infinite ways, styles, places and times that people choose to “tie the knot.” Many people opt for an afternoon wedding with an evening reception with its pros and cons, but there are other timings that may suit and this Atherton Tablelands wedding was a perfect example.
Our couple chose a ceremony starting at mid morning. This meant that everyone was fresh and keen and raring to go. The venue was Foxwell Park Lodge at Malanda and the weather was absolutely perfect for Plan A, which was an outdoor garden wedding on the gorgeous green lawns, surrounded by spectacular Far North Queensland views, good friends and loving families.
A guitar and string trio ushered in the bridal party as they elegantly made their way across the lawn from the main house in front of one hundred and something, delighted guests. The rustic “Queenslander” accomodation, the shady trees in this country park setting created an atmosphere of happiness and hope for a bright future. Well done people!
